Dr. Laura Kimmell received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She received her undergraduate Bachelors degree in Animal Science from Oregon State University in 2008. Dr. Kimmell has worked in the Portland area since 2013 as a small animal practitioner. She enjoys creating comfortable and understanding environments for pet parents to learn about and understand the care their pets need. When not doctoring as many pets as she can get her hands on, Dr. Kimmell and her rescue "pot-licker" canine companion, Daphne, can be found enjoying the outdoors of Oregon and beyond. She has a strong passion for travel and experiencing cultures outside of our own, which led to her annual volunteer trips with World Vets to Nicaragua for high volume spay-neuter and community education campaigns.
