Everything has been easy from scheduling appointments (even those pesky urgent ones) to emails with invoices and summaries from their visits. Dr. Cates is thorough, caring, and extremely responsive when we have had questions or concerns about how to best care for our aging pets."

"Dr. Cates and his team are simply remarkable. I came to them with my beloved 17 year old kitty after recently moving to Portland and they graciously accepted him as a patient despite his already existing kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, and arthritis. In the past six months, I had to visit them more often than I'd have liked, but there was never a time when I didn't feel as though my cat wasn't the most important animal in the world to Dr. Cates. Unfortunately, my little man's health declined, and he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer on his tongue. Dr. Cates and his team made sure that this unbelievably difficult time of my life was handled with care and tenderness. Every single one of the wishes I requested was fulfilled, and I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful sendoff to heaven for my boy. Dr. Cates is honest, real, and truly cares for his patients. I can't express enough gratitude for him and his team."
